The time has come...

THREE DAYS!

I can't believe it's so soon, but it's been fast approaching now for weeks. Many of my amazing friends have seen me for the last time until Christmas, and my wardrobe has been seriously limited because most of my stuff is packed away. Though I feel ready, I know it's not going to seem real until I am there with Sam and Charlie at the airport, ready to throw my (many) bags on my new bed and run onto the beach. Would it be tacky if I flew down there in a bikini?

A few loose ends to discuss: my leave of absence from the York Region District School Board, cell phone, travel insurance... but things will come together. I have been far too busy for administrative details - Jen threw me a surprise party in Durham a couple weeks ago (thank you again!) and I spent last Friday throwing a going away party for myself and Tim (my friend who got a job as the gym teacher at the same school!) that proved a challenge to my remarkable memory. (Ok, it's remarkable when I'm drunk. Sober? Par at best.)

My flight leaves Sunday at 10:35 am, and for those of you who know my family well, you know Caelan owes me a trip or two to the airport. Thanks to him in advance for moving me out of my place in Toronto, and carting me around otherwise as necessary. I already miss having a car, imagine when I have to ride a dolphin to the grocery store!
